How to become a member...

  1. Download the application form in PDF format from the ODE website (click here).
  2. Complete the form (The chapter name is the Alpha Chapter of France).
  3. Return the completed form with a copy of your unofficial transcript to Yoko in the ARC (Grenelle).

The eligibility requirement...

You DO NOT have to be an economics major!

Undergraduate students:

  • Completion of 12 semester hours of economics courses.
  • Attainment of at least a “B” average in economics courses and an overall “B” average in all classes.
  • Students do not have to be economics majors, but must have a genuine interest in economics in addition to meeting the above requirements.

Graduate students in economics:

  • Eligibility judged solely on graduate work.
  • Completion of one semester of full time work.
  • Attainment of a “B” or better average.

Faculty members:

  • No admission requirements for faculty members. All are eligible and welcome to join a chapter.
  • Chapters may also elect Honorary Members. These candidates must be persons of high ethical and professional standards.
